Villamartin is a very popular area to live. It is a mixture of permanent residents and holiday makers who enjoy the surroundings every day. We are situated only 10 minutes from several blue flag beaches including La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Mil Palmeras.

We are only 20 minutes south of the centre of Torrevieja which has quite recently undergone a huge uplift creating a very modern contemporary city feel with its numerous trendy cafe bars, restaurants, sea front promenade and harbor. You can enjoy a coffee and churros and sit and watch the world go by. A great mixture of nationalities come together in Torrevieja.

If you like shopping (this is for the ladies) there is a large shopping complex 20 minutes from Villamartin (next to Torrevieja) called Habaneras which has clothes shops galore, including some that you find in England (C&A, H&M, Zara, Specsavers) and many more including several very classy spanish stores and shoes, shoes, shoes!!!

On the southern side of Villamartin another 15 minutes drive there is another huge shopping centre called Dos Mares which is exactly the same set up, several shops, restaurantes, cinema, bowling etc etc and this is situated on the Spanish seaside town of San Pedro.

Villamartin has a very famous Plaza in the centre with many top quality restaurantes. The square centres around lots of Palm trees, water features where the local inhabitants gather daily to make song and plenty of noise (well the local inhabitants are in fact parrots) that fly around freely and keep you amused.

If you fancy a day away from the coast there are many beautiful inland towns to visit from 20 minutes upward.

We are only 20 minutes from San Javier Airport and 40 from Alicante Airport.

I nearly forgot the GOLF!!! We are in the centre of golfers paradise, with villamartin golf course on your doorstep. If you wanted to use a different course every day, that is very simple here. You have Campoamor golf within 5 minutes, Las Ramblas golf within 5 minutes, Quesada golf within 10 minutes, La Finca golf within 20 minutes and several others that I'm sorry I cannot remember the names.

To summarize there are so many things to tell you about Villamartin and the local area that I could go on forever. And I am sure I have forgot some very important places, but with everything on your doorstep you should probably visit the area and see for yourself.

If you are looking for a villa in the area view my profile http://www.blabba.us/users/johnw

If your not looking for a villa but thinking of moving and just want to know more about whats on offer and places to see I would be happy to help. After all if you don't become the new owner of my house, you might become my neighbour!!!

In general the reason homeowners selling privately (FSBO's) and agents fail to sell, is too much competition. You never get to speak to enough buyers, to arrange enough viewings, to cause a sale to happen.

Take Full Control To Sell
Unless you take full control of your real estate and put yourself in a position to talk to buyers on a regular basis, you will have very little chance of selling in Spain today. The competition is so strong that it's the homeowner or agent that gets to buyers first, that makes the sale.

Show Interest — Talk To Buyers On A Regular Basis
We guarantee that if you upgrade to Pro Seller/Pro Agent Account you can initiate first contact with buyers, placing you in a much stronger position to sell. You must show interest. If you are not interested enough to invest in the marketing of your own home or business, then why should buyers be interested in you. Buyers are waiting for you to contact them today. Don't lose out to your competitors by waiting for them to contact you.
Be proactive, show interest. Get yourself a Pro Seller or Pro Agent Account today!

This site was recommended to me by a friend. It looks real interesting. Is there any help / user guide as there's a lot of buttons here.

I am starting my research into buying in Spain CB South - I expect to come over from UK a few times in the next 6 months to see the area / houses. I will not rush into buying, might even consider renting first.

There's so much to see / know and as a cautious person any investment I make will be a considered and slow one... afterall it's a buyer's market and there's plenty of choice.

Be back soon....

Our office in Tortosa is a fully registered property estate agency for Spanish Property sales in Tortosa and the surrounding areas of the beautiful COSTA DORADA.

On the categorised links you will find Real Estate properties to suit all tastes and budgets. Most of the properties are within a small radius of Tortosa town, some with riverside access to the famous RIVER EBRO.

Villas, country homes, apartments, town and village houses & investment properties.

Our aim is to make buying your home here in Catalonia as stress free as we possibly can. We have been in the business here for six years, working initially alongside a Spanish Agency. We thought that this would be the best way to get to know all the pitfalls that can happen if you are not fully aware of the procedures in buying a property in Spain. We now know that this was the best decision we could have made which we liken to us "serving" an apprenticeship.

We, being my husband Steve and myself, Stephanie, offer the benefits of an office, straight talking and above all honesty. We will be there from start to finish plus aftercare (which we feel is of the utmost importance). We will be here for you at your request for any help, advice or just a chat and a cup of tea.

Promise to you - the client

We at MySpanishome will work for you in a professional and honest manner, we will make your move here as pain free as we can because we know and understand how stressful it can be moving to a new country. We also understand you have probably just sold your home in England which is as we know also very stressful. You may also be leaving loved ones which is why we promise you we will find your dream house!

Please remember that whilst, yes we are estate agents, yes we value your custom, but most of all we will value your friendship for hopefully many years to come.

Be Sure - Be Safe - Be with MySpanishome

Hello, I have just had details on a few properties sent by a couple of different agents (very helpful agents) which I appreciate very much. However can someone tell me why on earth the exact same property would be 22,000 euros difference in price with one agent than the other. Now, I understand agents have to add commission, obviously we all have to earn a living, but assuming the first agent has already added their commission at the lower asking price, this means the second agent has added over 22,000 more in commission! Or am I looking at this wrong? Can somebody advise me please?

Many Thanks

Paula
Sterling rose on Thursday, shaking off the previous day's losses, helped by robust economic data and comments from the Bank of England's Andrew Sentance, who made reference to a rising pound offsetting inflation.

British factory orders improved more than expected in February and firms expected to put up prices at their fastest pace in 2-1/2 years, the CBI's monthly industrial trends survey showed on Thursday.

Sentance has been calling for a rate hike since June 2010 and said the central bank's latest economic forecasts underestimate upside risks to inflation, and interest rates need to rise faster than markets expect to bring it back to target.

Implied rates, based on interest rate futures and swaps, are pricing in a quarter percentage point rate hike in June and another one in October.

One of the advantages of raising interest rates now would be a rise in the value of the pound, Sentance said. This would help offset the rising cost of imported commodities, which have helped drive inflation to double the BoE's two percent target.

Gilt yields tracked sterling lower on Wednesday as the market adjusted to the possibility that UK rates may not need to rise as quickly as previously thought, but relative to other countries, the rate outlook was still favourable.

LOOK !!!!!€53,000 including 100% finance (subject to status)

I have secured 75 apartments from the bank on Terrazas de la Torre normal price €95,000 for a 2 bed 1 bath - Marben Real Estate has them @ €53,000 including 100% finance subject to status and if required.

Electronic brouchure of the propoerties can be sent upon request !

With approx 6,000€ (£5,000) Closing costs (this is what is required for the purchase should the 100% finance offer be taken)

Finally, we have received 75 units, that we can offer at special prices.

The discounts are between 60-65 %. Mortgages up to 100 % subject to status.

As these are bank owned  the VAT reduction does not apply - 7 % property transfer tax will apply but is included in our closing cost estimate of €6000.

Also today the bank has confirmed that the bar/restaurant will open by the end of March and the pro-shop will be transferred to the commercial area during April.

Ideally located for the new airport & the proposed “Paramount Theme Park “

15 minutes from beaches

on a fantastic 18 hole golf course - great rental potential for golfers

need to move really quickly on these as they will be sold fast

Thanks
